Alternators

All small Lucas alternators 15ACR-18ACR are rebuilt with a double seal bearing to prevent dust from entering the bearing.

Instead of the Lucas small button diode rectifier, Jack's Auto uses a heavy-duty 25 Amp diode rectifier. This feature extends the life of the alternator.

The 18ACR is a 43 Amp alternator installed with a heavier wound stator.

Generators

If you desire Jack's Auto will rebuild your date-coded generator for authenticity when showing your car.

Jack's Auto also does Tach-drive generators!

Difficult to find English Ford 6 volt generators are in stock or Jack's Auto can rebuild yours on request.

Starters

Jack's Auto services early and late style starters. The starter types can be determined using the descriptions below.
    Early Styles:  have a cast iron mounting frame with a threaded armature
      shaft at the drive end.
    Late Styles:  have an aluminum mounting frame with a lockring at the end
      of the shaft holding the drive on.

Each starter is date coded.

Jack's Auto can authenticate your particular style for the proper application to your vehicle.
