Alternators

XKE/MarkX - 10AC and 11C Alternators

Of special interest to the owner of the XKE or Mark X are the 10AC and 11AC alternators.   These formerly problem alternators have been improved with our unique modifications that make them long lasting and dependable.  Part of our unique process includes the installation of a specially cast brass rectifier with heavy-duty diodes to replace the infamous original aluminum rectifier that was known for burning out.  Another Jack's Auto improvement is an upgrade to a heavy gage wound stator that is sturdier than the original.

ALL Other Jaguar Alternators

ALL other Jaguar alternators - including XJ6, XJ12 and XJS - have a heavy gage wound stator (that is sturdier than the original) and large diode rectifiers installed.

Generators

All units contain newly rewound armatures and fields.
All units are date-coded.
Modified Generator units are available for the following Jaguar models for the
